"The Arab Horse" was first published in 1989 to acclaim from press and pundits.

Since that date, the author has done much to revise, refine and update the contents - particularly that section devoted to the lines of descent.

The first Arab stallion brought to Britain (in the 1830s) from the Desert of Arabia was Padischah, whose pure-bred line still exists.

This book provides a complete record of all the desert-bred horses imported after Padischah, from whom present day pure-bred Arab horses descend.
