"Wise Choices Beyond Midlife" began as a study group that became, over a period of two years, an inspiring, informing and empowering book for women over 60 that explores practical ideas, resources and suggestions for action on eight major life issues.

They include health, relationships, income, health care, ageing and death.

The four authors pool their personal and professional experiences as psychologists, teachers and social workers to discuss the uncertainties and anxieties of becoming elders, and preparing for a full life after midlife.
