The Roman Empire and Britain 1066-1500 : interactive activities for whiteboards

This CD-ROM is packed with activities designed to be used with the whole class on a whiteboard or data projector.

It contains interactive starter, main and plenary activities which can be used stand-alone, or to support the teaching and learning of each chapter in the following "Hodder History" student books: "The Roman Empire"; "Conflict, and, People and Power: Medieval Britain 1066-1500".

In addition there are a set of activities designed to be used at the beginning of Year 7, to aid student's progression from Key Stage 2 to 3 by developing their historical skills.

The CD-ROM contains activities that are: fun and engaging; built around the Key Stage 3 strategy; designed to encourage whole class interaction.

Each activity is supported by teacher notes explaining the objectives of the activity and how to carry it out.
