My Life in Poetry

"This is the poetry of my life. The sea has always been there. I came from a family of sea faring folk and lived everyday within spitting distance of the docks as I grew.

So yes, the majority of my verse is stimulated by the sea. On the other hand, not all of my verse is about the watery medium.

It has been challenged by events in my life. Poetry and prose is born of inspiration - that thing that enters your every day life which smacks you in the eye and you dash for piece of paper and a pencil. Or, it could be a digital form of capturing the moment.... Enjoy!"​Lesley Creasser Guymer
