Poetry anthology

The "New Century Readers" series brings together a wide-ranging collection of poems for Key Stage 3 that meets the National Curriculum requirements for the study of poetry.

Each text in this series includes detailed notes and a glossary, as well as a differentiated study programme.

The activities offer specific practice in the skills required by the English test in the SATs and include reading strategies to motivate pupils.

Also included is a programme of study incorporating word, sentence and text level practice.
