Wireless Sensor Networks

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) can be defined as self-configured and infrastructure-less wireless networks.

WSNs monitor physical or environmental conditions, such as temperature, sound, vibration, pressure, motion or pollutants and cooperatively pass their data through the networks to the central location or sink where it can be observed and analysed.
