Britain's Motorways looks at each of the main motorways, including the M1, M6 and the M25 plus the other A-designated motorways, such as the A1(M), giving details of their history, routes and characteristics in a subject that has never been covered in such detail before.

In researching this book, Mark Chatterton has spent many years travelling the length and breadth of Great Britain, visiting each motorway and capturing photographs.
