Stories to help you pray : stories with guided prayer journeys for children

This resource contains ten Bible stories, each told from the point of view of a child and followed by guided meditations.

The stories are taken from the Gospel accounts and include key Bible verses.

The correct historical and social background is used in order to enrich the child's understanding and to help the story come alive. The meditations are followed by directed questions to facilitate the child's experience of entering the story itself and an invitation to 'look out' of the story and take its meaning into the rest of the day.

All the material has been thoroughly field tested with 6-10s, the results of which are included in the book.
