Media and Information Security

Media and Information Security edited by Gong Wei, Huang Wei, Chen Guowei and Zhang Chi consists of two parts.The first part presents the system and structure of media and information security.Chapter 1 introduces the meaning and significance of media security and problems concerning media and information security at present.

Chapter 2 analyses the relationship between information technology and media development and opportunities and challenges when they are combined.

Chapter 3 outlines the architecture of media and information security, providing a theoretical framework for subsequent research.

Chapter 4 expounds how to analyze and evaluate the risks of information security.Chapter 5 introduces security strategies of media and information security in broadcasting network, computer network and print media respectively.Chapter 6 analyzes problems existing in the broadcasting information security.The second part introduces technologies employed in media and information security.Chapter 7 presents the two major password systems in information privacy technology, their encryption algorithm, key management and information hiding technology.

Chapter 8 introduces information authentication technologies, such as digital signature, Hash function, etc.Chapters 9-13 introduce access control technology, firewall technology, intrusion detection technology, virtual private network technology (VPN) and anti-virus technology respectively.
