This book was written during one of the toughest trials in my life as I watched daily my aunt who I loved like my own mother battled adversity.

I watched as she was ushered into the presence of God as God called her home.

You loved me when I didn't feel loved. You told me I was pretty when I didn't feel pretty. You counted me in when others counted me out. My greatest childhood memories came from you. And so many times, you looked at me like you were so proud of me.

It was during my time of testing as I watched you battle many obstacles and your health decline that God poured into me daily with words and prayers that would encourage many. Because of you, Auntie, I had the strength and the will to write this book.
