Flatfoot : A Roman Comedy of Bad Manners

A 'play within a play' about the Roman writer Titus Maccius Plautus, who pops up in the 21st century, enraged to find his ideas and stage tricks have been plundered through the ages by everyone from Shakespeare to sitcom writers.

Plautus takes us back to ancient Rome, where he is trying to convince a skeptical backer, that his new work, The Swaggering Soldier, is a winner by acting it out for him.
