Connections in Art - Level Three

This kit-based teaching programme comprises fine art prints and discipline-specific lessons.

Every level has 18 fine art reproductions and 36 lessons, 8 each for language arts, social studies, mathematics, science, and music, drama and dance.

The back of each print has background on the art and artist, related art facts, and questions that explore the elements and principles of design.

Lessons are correlated to the US National Visual Arts Standards, IRA/NCTE standards for English/Language Arts, NCSS Social Studies Standards, NCTM Mathematics Standards and National Science Standards.

Teaching support includes scope and sequence, glossaries, bibliographies and interdisciplinary teaching strategies.

The boxed kit also includes 72 assessment masters, 2 masters per lesson, with alternative ways to wrap-up and evaluate each lesson; and 36 studio masters, one master per lesson, with step-by-step illustrations supporting each studio activity.
