Primary ICT: Extending Knowledge in Practice

"The Achieving QTS" series already provides those on initial teacher training courses with core knowledge and understanding for a range of subjects and topics. "Extending Knowledge in Practice" is a new strand to help trainees extend and deepen this subject knowledge, as well as to use and demonstrate it more actively in planning and implementing lessons.

The series will cover the core subject areas of Primary English, Mathematics, Science and ICT. "Primary ICT" is aimed at all those on Primary and Early Years ITT courses.

It is full of invaluable information and practical suggestions, with clear links throughout to the new Professional Standards for the award of QTS.

It builds on "Primary ICT: Knowledge, Understanding and Practice", and focuses clearly on classroom practice while relating ideas to pedagogy.
