Hiroshima: Bridge to Forgiveness is the journey of Takashi Tanemori, the son of a Samurai, from the ashes of postwar Japan to new life and purpose.

Takashi was less than one mile from ground zero when the first atomic bomb exploded over Hiroshima, claiming his parents, two sisters and his father's grandparents.

As an orphan, he was rejected in his homeland, and emigrated to the United States, along the way suffering physical and emotional cruelty.

Through kind acts, he started rebuilding his life. Though he became a Christian minister, Takashi was unable to conquer the prejudice of his congregations, and his struggles led to severe health challenges.

An epiphany inspired Takashi to devote himself to promote "Peace through Forgiveness" and to help future generations live in Heiwa - - peace, with harmony and equality.
