Haim Steinbach builds his work around the relationship that ties man to objects; he interprets this bond as being a projection of one's emotional life.

As visiting professor at the Ratti foundation, Steinbacj lead 25 students in the discovery of the value of objects.

His course resulted in two exhibitions: one by the students and the other by Steinbach, who juxtaposed the panorama of Lake Como with objects found near the Hudson, and with photographs taken at the Tempio Voltiano (which celebrates the invention of the battery.
