The third edition of Employment Law in Ireland reflects the view of the authors that the whole nature and purpose of employment law is gradually changing.

Since the last edition, almost all the key areas of employment law have seen legislative reform.

There has been new legislation on most aspects of terms and conditions of employment, including working hours and payment of wages.

Additionally, there has been major new legislation on unfair dismissal and discrimination.
