World Development Report : Making Services Work for Poor People - Other Views on Making Services Work for Poor People

The World Development Report CD-ROM compendium is designed to provide easy access both to the full World Development Report 2004 ('Making Services Work for Poor People') and to the rich compendium of materials that were developed and collected during the time of the WDR04 work program.

These materials include commissioned background papers, submissions by external organizations, critiques of the draft WDR, and presentations made on specific WDR related issues.

The purpose of producing the compendium is to ensure that government officials, researchers, academics, civil society organizations and others, especially in developing countries, have easy access to the materials that were collected.
