Back pain : report of a CSAG Committee on back pain (4th impression 1996)

This report is concerned with the standards of clinical care for, and access to and availability of services to, NHS patients with back pain.

The CSAG has concentrated on the treatment in the first six months after the onset of low back pain and in particular on the first six weeks in primary care.

The report was prepared with representation from hospital practice, general practice, public health and physical therapies.
