Chemical Incident Management for Local Authority Environmental Health Practitioners

In a survey it was found that nearly 50 per cent of local authorities experienced a chemical incident in 1999, and response to such incidents is a developing are for local environmental health practitioners.

The aim of this book is to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and skills so that the professional groups involved (public health physicians and accident and emergency clinicians) can respond more effectively in situations that are frequently stressed and require rapid decision-making.
