Forest of Canada

Canada's forests cover 4.2 million km squared. They are found on wetlands, plains, mountains and seacoasts, and in urban settings.

These forests are as varied as the lands they occupy - from scattered conifers in the north to unusual arboreal travellers in the south, and from the imposing giants of Canada's coastal rain forest to the high-altitude survivors on rugged mountain slopes.
