Ohio Politics is the first comprehensive survey of the state's post-World War II politics.

This collaborative effort by a team of journalists and political scientists examines the major political events in Ohio since 1944 and provides insight into the state's key political institutions and processes.

In the first half of the book, nine veteran journalists explore the state's recent political history through seven gubernatorial eras, up to and including George Voinovich's first term.

In the second half, nine political scientists from various Ohio universities analyze in depth the state's legislative, executive, and judicial branches and their leaders, as well as interest groups, elections, and political parties.
