This is a photocopiable pack written to help head teachers, curriculum deputies and heads of sixth form to offer GNVQ's and general SVQ's. The key issues discussed are: the pros and cons of vocational education; choice of subject areas, with guidance on level of specialized knowledge needed among staff; guidance on how to handle core skills requirements; the delivery team and who should be in it; and how does a small institution cope, assessment and training of internal assessors, and timetabling assessors.
