Charles A. Lindbergh, Sr. was a long-time U.S. Representative from northern Minnesota, and an outspoken critic of national finance and World War I.

This book was published in anticipation of Lindbergh's campaign for the Minnesota governorship in 1924, and would have been the first Minnesota governor from the Farmer-Labor Party if he had been elected.

Sadly, he passed away on May 24, 1924.
