On the Track to Problem Solving - Pack 1

Designed to help teachers implement the problem-solving section of the Mathematics 5-14 Guidelines, this pack also supports Attainment Target 1 of the National Curriculum. The problem-solving process in the "On the Track to Problem Solving" series follows the interactive steps - starting, doing, reporting and evaluating - and helps students to learn and practice essential strategies for the development of problem-solving skills through an organized, systematic and experimental approach. This series covers Mathematics 5-14 levels pre-A to E in two photocopiable packs.

This pack contains pre-A and B (National Curriculum Key Stages 1 and 2).

Pack 2 covers C, D and E for National Curriculum Key Stages 2 and 3.

The packs are designed for maximum flexibility, and provide teachers with the "tool kit" to support problem-solving in mathematics.
