An unknowable phenomenon grips the Earth. It is the foretold "Transition"; the fabled "Shift of the Ages" ... the turning of a cosmic-cycle. Its scope is unknown, and its outcome uncertain. Electricity ceases to function; and humanity's technologies are rendered inert.

Useless. Most chillingly, memory itself is affected... rending families asunder -- and people are simply gone.

Missing. Then beings from the stars return; claiming what they believe theirs.
