Criss Angel

He is the most popular magician today. Criss Angel's illusions and death-defying spectacles baffle and excite audiences around the world.

He first came to the public eye in appearances at Madison Square Garden's Halloween event and in various television specials.

From there, he created and starred in an off-Broadway show called "Mindfreak", which was a hit with audiences and critics alike.

Angel hit it big in 2005 when the A&E television channel signed him to do a weekly show, "Criss Angel: Mindfreak".

In the three seasons it has been running, Angel has made a 9,000-pound elephant vanish and has been run over by a Humvee while lying on a bed of nails. And just when viewers think they have seen it all, he levitates from the top of a casino in Las Vegas!

It is no wonder that the name Criss Angel has become synonymous with 'amazing'.
