The Canadian Writer's Handbook (4th ed.)

The Canadian Writer's Handbook is a college/ university level writing reference book.

Pedagogical features include multiple exercises, and an omnibus checklist for planning and revising, whose content acknoledges the Candaian context, as well as the close examination of student writing in research and sample essay sections.

The new edition will acknowledge the importance of online resources and new technologies in college and university writing and research, including discussion of strategies for evaluating and documenting electronic (and non-electronic) sources in research based writing.

It will also include treatmentof editing issues of particular concern to those ESL students in the university transfer phase and who are therfore using the same materials as regular and examples into one's own writing, will also be discussed.

The latest MLA and APA conventions for documentation eill be included.
