In the eighties and nineties, portrait-painter Virginia Adair travelled the world over to interview 43 randomly selected female psychics of our time.

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Adair visited psychics not only in the US and Europe, but as far afield as Argentina, Turkey, Crete, the former Yugoslavia, Thailand, Singapore and India to compile her unique record.

In the process, she discovered that a revolution was a-borning -- the re-ascension to power of the psychic energies of women.

In 1999, the author's account of her voyage of discovery into the female psyche was published as Women of a Higher Nature.
