A Proper Job? Living On The Radio

Johnny Owen's Signal 2 Radio show from the studios in Stoke on Trent became the longest running Breakfast Show on British Radio. The Manchester born DJ had previously worked on Piccadilly Radio and became the most listened to presenter on the Stockport based Pirate radio station KFM. When KFM was launched as an official station in 1990 Johnny's afternoon show became the most popular on the station. Johnny now presents a show on Hitmix radio.
