This is a brightly-coloured book which aims to teach children recognition and matching skills.

Children guess the answer to a simple question, select a shape and place it in the pocket, then lift the flap to find out if the answer is correct.

A picture on the front of each pocket provides a visual clue to the right answer and an acetate sheet over the pocket allows the child to see if they have answered correctly.

The fold-out frieze provides children with an informative scene and a chance to put all of the moveable shapes from the book where they belong in the picture.
