Lazy Mazy Activities

This book provides activities based on the six sections from the Ohio 3rd grade literacy standards. The activities incorporate all the required skill-based instructions and recommendations for reading, speaking, and writing.

The Literature and Informational Text both focus on the following:
a. Key Ideas and Details
b. Crafts and Structure
c. Integration of Knowledge and Ideas

The Fundamental Skills, students will engage in the following:
a. Phonics and Word Recognition
b. Fluency

In the Speaking and Listening section, students will dive into the following:
a. Comprehension and Collaboration.
b. Present their Knowledge and Ideas.

In the Writing section, students will work with the following:
a. Text Types and Purpose
b. Production and Distribution of Writing
c. Research to Present and Build Knowledge

In the Language portion, students will explore the following:
a. Convention of Standard English
b. Knowledge of Language
c. Vocabulary Acquisition and Use
