The report on excavations which took place in 2001/02 in advance of the construction of a bypass in Buckinghamshire.

Features uncovered include a site with evidence for Bronze Age activity, a later site with an Iron Age roundhouse and an Iron Age/Roman trackway, and a third site with late Iron Age enclosure ditches and post-holes as well as a dispersed early Saxon cemetery.

Overall the project added most to our understanding of the prehistoric landscape, and its survival into medieval parishes.
