Alternative road transport fuels : a preliminary life-cycle study for the UK

This study examines, in a national context, the overall economic, energy and emissions impications of various road transport fuel alternatives.

Comparisons are made on a life-cycle basis for each fuel taking into consideration the enrgy use and emissions associated with its production, distribution and end-use in vehicles.

Volume 2 presents the life-cycle analysis findings as a set of chapters, one for each fuel.
