Houses and Homes

Houses and Homes encourages children to think about why we have houses and homes and what common features they share. Readers are asked to compare and contrast different styles of homes and to look at the materials in and around their own homes. Activities include designing a model bedroom and planning, making and evaluating a model house. The best-selling Start-Up series has been rewritten to emphasise the cross-curricular teaching potential of each title.
