Gooseberry is practising his flying. "Vrooom!" he cries, as he soars and dives amongst the red and gold leaves that dance in the breeze. "Look at me!" he calls. But his friends are too busy to watch for long: they're all collecting food, or making cosy nests, getting ready for winter.

Shouldn't the little goose be getting ready for the snowy days too...?
