The "League of Gentlemen"

Welcome to Spent, an odd and rather isolated town somewhere in the North.

It's inhabitants include Dr Chinnery the lethally incompetent vet, Pauline the monstrous Job Centre Restart Officer, and the hideously exacting Dentons who impose their toads and disturbing habits upon their visiting nephew Benamin.

These and other memorable townsfolk are ferried around by Barbara, a taxi-driver half way through his sex change.
