Not long after Olivia's summer vacation comes to an end, her daddy is summoned to the Royal Florence Academy for Girls to meet with the school's founder, Chairman Phyllis.

Olivia's academic and magical performance has been spectacular, so the school wants to recommend her for the position of "e;King's Pupil,"e; a prestigious and coveted title that will afford her special privileges and duties even at her young age.
