Secretary of State's guidance - iron, steel and non-ferrous metal foundry processes (1996 revision)

This work is a guide to the techniques appropriate for the control of air pollution in relation to iron, steel and non-ferrous metal foundry processes, in order to comply with section 7(2)(a) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.

It should be of interest to enforcing authorities and process operators.

It comprises guidance in relation to recent and existing processes and is based on as assessment of available techniques as qualified by the requirement not to entail excessive cost.
