Heinemann Galaxie Readers: Teaching Guide - Level 2 - Level 2

"Galaxie" is a French reading scheme from Heinemann which is designed to support the teaching of French to primary school pupils in international schools.

The books are based on the "Rigby Star" readers and have been adapted by language expert Marie-Georgette Bolger. "Galaxie" is a collection of short, stimulating stories which enable students to read in French for information and enjoyment.

The books are inspiring and varied and should help children develop their comprehension skills and vocabulary.

The books are accompanied by a teaching guide which provides a high level of support - in planning, teaching and assessment.

This is done through a range of before, during and after reading strategies and activities.
