Unexpected : Leave Fear Behind, Move Forward in Faith, Embrace the Adventure

Most of us have been trained to fear the unexpected.

We much prefer the safe feeling of everything being under control.

But God wants us to anticipate the unexpected with an expectant faith-filled perspective rooted in trust.

He wants us to know fully that what is unexpected to us has never taken Him by surprise. Using never-before-published stories and examples from her life and journey, Unexpected will walk the reader through the steps of moving from fear, control, worry, anxiety, panic and being stuck, to living full of hope, faith and trusting God.

By walking the reader through dealing with pain barriers, managing disappointment, strengthening their hearts, building their faith, and expanding their lives, they can step out into the adventure, destiny and assignments given to them by God. Life is an unpredictable journey full of unexpected twists and turns, mountaintops and valleys, joys and sorrows.

The good news is that although we do not know what is going to happen, we can learn to trust that God uses everything in our lives as an invitation to trust him more deeply and completely.

We can walk forward in faith and not fear, because our God is good, does good and works all things together for our good and his glory.

Unexpected will show that in an age of political, social, moral, ethical, environmental, and economic upheaval we can still expect our God to be good and do good. Stepping into our God-given destiny always involves the unknown, unchartered, unpredictable and the unexpected.

To fulfill our calling, we must learn to expect, welcome and embrace the unexpected.
