The Chora of Metaponto : The Necropoleis

This study provides a complete record of the necropolis of the ancient Greek colony of Metaponto in southern Italy.

It sets 400 burials dating from the 6th to the 3rd centuries BC into tographical, historical and cultural contexts.

Specialist studies deal with ceramic and other finds, especially bronze mirrors and vases.

There is also in-depth study of the human remains.
