Developmental Psychology

This text seeks to provide psychology students with an accessible introduction to development psychology.

In line with the developmental psychology component of the revised AEB syllabus, the book explores aspects of development - social, cognitive, and emotional - and adopts a lifetime approach, discussing major stages of the life-cycle, including childhood, adolescence, adulthood and old age.

Theories of development are included such as psychoanalytic, behavioural, social learning, cognitive-developmental and information-processing.
