Chronicle of Canada

This volume tells the story of Canada from pre-history to 1989, in whose development generations of Britons have played a significant role.

There are special features on "my Canada", which contains contributions from ordinary people, on the Canadian provinces and territories and on the environment as well as items on history, culture, languages and landscape.

It follows the "Chronicle" approach to historical information with short entries written in the "you-are-there" style.

The information has been taken from historical records and news archives and has been researched and checked by leading historians.
