Flash! : the Associated Press covers the world

Many of the Associated Press's greatest photographs, some of which won a Pulitzer Prize, are brought together in this record of major events and personalities of the 20th century, published to mark the agency's 150th anniversary.

Famous images such as the American flag rising over Iwo Jima and a young Cassius Clay exultant over a prostrate Sonny Liston are among those included, as well as recent news items.

The book also contains behind-the-scenes photographs of journalists at work, and a history of the agency.
