Unmasking Hitler : cultural representations of Hitler from the Weimar Republic to the present

Scholars mostly of German literature and mostly in the US survey some of the representations of the German Nazi leader either for nationalistic propaganda or for satirizing and ridiculing him and the movement.

They pay particular attention to the historical changes between the 1920s through divided Germany after 1945; and differences techniques use
