The name of Jennie Loriston-Clarke has become a legend in the equestrian world.

But behind her successes in the international dressage arena and as a trainer, breeder and producer of top-class competition horses lies the story of an extraordinary life as part of an extraordinary family.

Her mother, Anne Bullen, was equally gifted as an artist and a horsewoman.

She and her husband, Jack, gave Jennie a love and understanding of animals, determination and strength of character - all of which have shaped her life through its rollercoaster path of triumph and tragedy.

Jennie has won medals and been honoured by the Queen.

She has ridden against, and beaten, the best and made the name of Catherston Stud synonymous with the best of British breeding.

She has faced heartbreak and found happiness in equally strong measures, much of which she has talked about for the first time.
