Candida Hofer : Kuehn Malvezzi

Candida Hofer brings her rigorous taxonomic eye to the buildings of Johannes Kuehn, Wilfried Kuehn and Simona Malvezzi, who are perhaps better known among artists and gallery owners than among architects, having been responsible for the conversion of the Binding brewery for Documenta 11, the extension of the Hamburger Bahnhof for the Flick Collection and the conversion of a factory building in Dusseldorf for the Stoschek collection.
