Arts Education for a Multicultural Society

This work is an analyses of the AEMS project which introduced black artists and their music, drama, literature and a range of other art forms to mixed race and all-white schools and colleges in many areas of England and Wales, actively involving hundreds of teachers and thousands of pupils.

The book describes the projects activities and considers how its achievements can still be developed into a genuinely multicultural arts education for all young people.
