In the second Dino Trouble book, Johnny joins Mr. Smith and the gang of mischievous dinosaurs in solving the mystery of Whiskas' disappearing. 

Mr. Smith finds his apartment vandalized and his cat Whiskas missing. All the evidence leads to the cat-eating dinosaur, Gawky. Disregarding his safety, Mr. Smith heads to Dinosaur Land to seek revenge. The surprising arrival of Johnny detours his plans and saves the rogue dino.
