The Silent Scene : The Cultural Script in the Frame

The James Hockey Gallery and South East Arts have put together a catalogue of 15 artists, each bringing together a collection of stories and images.

This is a text to accompany the exhibition of the same name, art which tackles dramatic sensations rather than being categorised by any historical, material or specific thematic context.

Illustrations of the works are juxtaposed with personal explanations from their creators.
